The latest version of BookPEI is now available online! In version 3.0.0 we've made huge changes to the core of the system, adding in slew of new features! The booking engine now supports room types, reservations of any lengths, powerful new custom pricing rules, and enchanced searching capabilities. The system framework is now natively multilingual for any number of languages, contains advanced user profiles and permissions, and a truly scalable architecture. With dozens and dozens of other changes and new features, this is the most powerful version of the Slumberland engine to date!

Akbash Dogs International Launched

Akbash Dogs International is an organization devoted to preserving and understanding the Akbash dog. The organization provides information and advice to anyone who wishes to learn more about this special breed of animal. Being an international club, the site had to be easily accessible and multi-user, so we adapted a Drupal solution to meet their needs. With online registration, interactive message boards, and an active newsletter, the site offers many ways to engage and inform visitors.

CPKN Launched

The Canadian Police Knowledge Network is Canada's leading online police training provider. The CPKN website contained hundreds of pages that are translated into two languages, so it required a content management system that was capable of extensive multi-lingual support. We used a deeply customized Drupal installation that could seamlessly switch between English and French. Broad use of custom content types, taxonomies, and aggregation modules rounded out the application, providing a CMS solution that can grow and expand with CPKN's ever-evolving online presence.

Island Artist Launched

The Island Artist website showcases the paintings of David Stewart, a landscape artist from Prince Edward Island. The artist wanted to have a site that was focussed on showcasing his paintings, with minimal navigation and uncluttered design. We opted for a streamlined site that quickly lets a visitor switch categories, view large images, and see details about the artwork. The gallery is easily expandable over time, and will continue to grow as the artist's portfolio expands.

When looking for a new website, they came to us with the visual challenge of matching their existing brand material, and the technical challange of easy expansion/upgrades in the future. We opted for a Drupal solution, which provides a strong content-managed backbone inside a framework that has limitless potential for upgrades. One Grafton Street Launched

One Grafton Street is a heritage bed and breakfast located in downtown Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Renovated from a century-old waterfront home, this boutique property has been carefully restored and redecorated as a warm and hospitable guest accommodation. The owners wanted to create a website that reflected the simple elegance of their property, showcasing the architecture and history of 'The Cottage'. We created a fully-custom site that places images of the property at centre stage, providing the guest with a real sense of the care and quality that makes One Grafton special.

Parks and People Gift Shop Launched

The Parks and People Association is a non-profit organization that promotes awareness, appreciation and conservation of the National Park and Historic Sites of Prince Edward Island. The association maintains several physical storefronts across the province, and wished to make select portions of their inventory available for purchase online. We customized the e-commerce software X-Cart to create a virtual storefront. A large variety of products is available for purchase, from National Parks passes to signed art prints.

We're happy to announce that v2.2.0 of our BookPEI system is now live. We've added existing customer lookups, Best Deals to unit level pricing, and photo editing for property profile images. We've also added the ability to set up access to our new booking API. The booking API lets tourism operators process online bookings from their own website using the BookPEI database and pricing structures.

Barrett and MacKay Launched

Barrett and MacKay are a husband and wife team of photographers with an extensive client list and large stock image catalogue. They wanted a new website that would serve both as a portfolio piece and stock image search engine. We performed deep customization on the Stockbox Photo application for them to create an attractive and responsive application that now houses over 20,000 searchable images!

We have just completed a massive upgrade to one of our core applications, transforming our Slumberland platform into BookPEI for TourismPEI. BookPEI is web application that allows tourism operators on Prince Edward Island to display and book their accommodations online. We re-wrote BookPEI to run exclusively on an object oriented codebase that will serve as the backbone of many of our new Slumberland-based projects. Integrating optimized data-handling on the backend and slick AJAX-driven pages on the front end, BookPEI is a major step forward for our application frameworks.
